As a Capitalist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of investment activities, including sourcing new opportunities, conducting due diligence, and executing deals. You will also provide ongoing support to portfolio companies after investment to help them grow and succeed. In addition, you will lead outreach initiatives to build and maintain strong networks within the startup ecosystem. Strong proficiency in both English and Japanese is required for this role.

As an Analyst, you will support the investment team in their activities and contribute to the overall operations of the MPower Tokyo office. Your responsibilities will also include assisting with outreach efforts to enhance our networks within the startup community. As Fund Operations & IR, you will be responsible for managing overall fund operations, including coordination with portfolio companies and preparation of fund reports. You will also support investor communications and assist with audit processes. The position requires a high degree of communication and coordination with the investment team. Strong proficiency in both English and Japanese is required for this role.

As an intern, you will suppport MPower's investment and functional teams. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a strong interest in startup investment or ESG. Business-level fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent for non-native speakers) is required, and English proficiency is also desirable. You should be able to work at least 2-5 days per week (60 hours per month) for a minimum of three months, and be able to commute to our Tokyo office, with partial remote work possible upon consultation. Please note that this internship does not necessarily lead to a full-time position, and non-Japanese nationals must be able to obtain a visa for Japan.
